800 words. Season 2, volume 2.

After the death of wife Laura, George Turner (Erik Thomson) made the very big call to move his family from Sydney to the small New Zealand seaside town of Weld. He wanted his kids, Shay (Melina Vidler) and Arlo (Benson Jack Anthony), to have a fresh start to heal and to find a new love of life in the beautiful place he had loved as a child. This did not go according to plan, and in the second series of 800 Words George is battling to reunite his splintered family. George continues to find his place among the eclectic folk of Weld, as he raises teenagers Shay and Arlo. George and Fiona’s budding relationship is headline news, but it’s Jan’s who is carrying her own secret that really sets the town alight. There are new faces as George’s wayward brother arrives in town, but is that too many Turners for Weld to handle?
