Maya is a little bee with a big personality! Set against the backdrop of a longstanding hatred between bees and hornets, Maya is born into a hive where conformity rules. But Maya dreams of an exciting life of freedom, fun and adventure – the world is simply far too interesting to stay inside a hive! But it's not easy being different. Her funny attempts to fit in and "be a bee" immediately bring her into conflict with the Queen's Royal Advisor – a narrow-minded control freak whose contempt for curious little bees is only eclipsed by her hatred for hornets.
