When Diana Callan was beaten to death, all the evidence suggested that her husband, former Green Beret Christopher Callan, was the killer. He had returned from Afghanistan and developed violent blackouts, during which he could remember nothing. But another suspect was in the frame and if Chris could provide enough evidence to prove his innocence the real murderer could be punished. However, that was easier said than done...especially while Chris was involved with the girlfriend of a psychotic hoodlum.
