As it is in Heaven 2: Heaven on Earth is the life-affirming follow-up film to the beloved, Academy Award nominated Swedish classic, As it is in Heaven. Following the death of world renowned conductor Daniel Darius, beautiful soprano and love of his life, Lena, expects his child. Lena's desire is to continue Daniel's legacy and bring joy to their village through music. She forms a choir to perform Handel's Messiah at the opening of a new church. When members of the community stand in her way, Lena determinedly fights their small-minded prejudice. This is a moving and humorous celebration of love, music, dance and their power to transform people.
