The Irish R.M. Series three.

Shot entirely on location in beautiful and dramatic County Kildare, The Irish R.M. is the tale of the monocled Major Sinclair Yeates. Sinclair Yeates is an army officer who resigns his commission to become a Resident Magistrate in the West of Ireland during the turn-of-the-century. The Major finds himself living in a ramshackle old house surrounded by the local community's colourful inhabitants, struggling to apply the law in a country where, in the words of a former Lord Chief Justice, “the inevitable never happens but the improbable frequently does.
